World War II Online is a persistent MMO (FPS) where players drive Campaign game play through strategy and combat in Western Europe. Play as Allied or Axis and take command of vehicles or soldiers in the Army, Air Force and Navy in a massive open game world. An authentic MMOFPS and player-driven wargame of WWII in Western Europe. The largest 24/7 persistent game world with up to 5000 simultaneous players engaged in hours-long attrition battles. A military-grade simulator with more than 200 authentic air/land/sea weapons.

Free play granted to all veteran playersAnyone who has ever had a premium subscription has received a Free Play sub added to their primary account, meaning all players of WWII Online will now be able to play - always - with Free Play (limited) access. This is a bold move for us but we believe it's not only a great way to keep players connected, but we think it's the right thing to do during this unprecedented time in our world's history to give all of our players the opportunity to play the game and disconnect from stress.

We see this as a perpetual 'welcome back soldier' while still maintaining the value of our subscriptions. Of course, we will put together a window of time to accept some questions, but this Rat Chat will be more of a demonstration than a Question & Answer session.Rat Chat hosted by 'Zoom Meeting' (Link here) zoom.usIf you need any help, please contact our support team at http://support.wwiionline.com.

WAYPOINTS ACROSS MULTIPLE MISSIONS. SERVER TRACKED OBJECTS - BOMBS. Early Access ReviewJoined during a special event. I had a hard time getting people to walk me through how to join them after doing the basic tutorials and the most interaction i was able to get got asked to leave a channel because they were doing special ops not suitable for noobs.

I could have been more insistent but got the vibe that i was interrupting people's good time and that i should just RTFM if i want to understand how to play. I didn't want to be a nuisance so just went back to other games.I get it's inimical to the grognard ethos of the game to have an 'instant action' button or to make it too easy for new players, but it would be good if there was some kind of formal onboarding for noobs.

Here are a few things to note about the game that could clear some things up and perhaps improve people's outlook on it. The graphics aren't top of the line but you have to remember, unlike FPS games that cover a small area and even then usually have some sort of fog to hem things in and make it more comp friendly, in this game to can literally see for miles. It is quite possible to search for and find someone a kilometer or two away and kill them if you are in a tank with good enough optics. That is a huge load even with things being not so pretty. Also the equipment is accurately modelled as has been mentioned.

This means that even if you shoot a tank it might not die since your round may not have enough force to penetrate the armor. An early allied anti-tank gun will not be able to kill a high end panzer from the front for instance. But it may manage to kill it from the side if you lay in ambush. My only trouble with the game is that as infantry there are times when the other player can be shot and shoot you back before he dies fully. Even this, however, is getting looked at. All in all BE is quite a good game and is definately worth a look. Just make sure you have patience and know how to work in a team.

'Rambo' style players have a horrible tendancy to end up dead very very quickly no matter what eqiupment they use. Oh yeah, and find a squad. That is perhaps the easiest way to learn and is definately the best way to play.Erev Anzacs Expand.
